BK Group Subsidiaries
Bank of Kigali was established in 1966 as Rwanda's foundational financial institution,
created through a partnership between the Rwandan government and Belgolaise, a Belgian bank.
Since opening its doors in 1967, the Bank has been instrumental in driving national economic
development by serving individuals, businesses, and government sectors.
Throughout Rwanda's history, including the challenging aftermath of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi,
the Bank has remained a pillar of financial stability and recovery.
The Bank's journey of growth includes
significant milestones such as its privatization and becoming the first Rwandan bank listed on the Rwanda
Stock Exchange in July 2011. Today, Bank of Kigali is Rwanda's largest financial institution with an extensive
network of branches and digital banking solutions throughout the country.
Bank of Kigali's continued focus on innovation and service excellence has earned it international recognition
as "Best Bank in Rwanda." and it remains committed to empowering individuals, supporting businesses, and

BK Techouse (Techouse) is the innovation and technology subsidiary of BK Group PLC, founded in 2016 and headquartered in Kigali, Rwanda.
Techouse serves as an engine for transformative technological solutions designed to address meaningful challenges for businesses and society.
The core mission of Techouse is to create impactful, enduring innovations through the application of intelligence, reason, and science.

BK General Insurance (BKGI) is the specialized insurance arm of BK Group,
licensed by the National Bank of Rwanda in 2016 to provide comprehensive
general insurance services.
Established in 2015, BKGI's vision is to be Rwanda's leading provider of innovative,
high-quality insurance solutions. BKGI is committed to delivering value to shareholders through
technology-enhanced products and a team of motivated professionals.
BKGI's strategic focus is on setting industry standards of excellence through innovation,
sustainable growth, building robust reserves, and exceeding customer expectations,
and is committed to contributing to the development of a properly functioning insurance market in Rwanda.
BK Capital (BKC) is the investment banking subsidiary of BK Group. Established in 2012 as
BK Securities Limited, BK Capital is the country's leading stockbroker and private fund manager
and is a member of the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE).
BKC provides a comprehensive investment services including investment management, corporate
finance, advisory services, and share registrar services.
As a licensed pension fund manager authorized by the Central Bank, BKC participates in
the Central Securities Depository of the National Bank of Rwanda (BNR).
BKC's competitive edge stems from its experienced team, robust systems, innovative products,
and commitment to building lasting client relationships.
BK Foundation is the philanthropic arm of BK Group, established in 2023 to drive positive social impact across Rwanda. The Foundation provides strategic grant funding to organizations that demonstrate

Bk Foundation's focus areas include education, innovation, environmental conservation, and financial literacy advancement.
